At Advantage Woodworks we strive to go the extra mile for
our customers. From our first meeting, you will see that we are very detail oriented and have an eye for quality. Please read
below for what you can expect when dealing with us.
Our first meeting will involve going over your project and seeing what style/design you want. This is a good time to bring
any pictures or samples of items you like to help get an idea of what you want. After getting all the details, we
will need a couple days to get your estimate together.
After
approval of price, we will start designing your project. This is when we come out to take field measurements to verify placement
of the cabinetry and all measurements. We will then use a cabinet design program to show you drawings of your
project before we begin building it. Our drawings help make sure everything is where you want it and how you
want it to look. These drawings can be emailed for you to review. Also during this stage, we will need a list of
all the appliances/components you plan on using to make sure we leave the proper room for all items.
After approval of drawings, your job will be sent to the shop to begin production. Skilled
craftsmen will use state of the art machinery to build your cabinets that ensures a quality product that will
last for years. Most jobs usually require three to four weeks after approval to build and be ready
to install. This time frame should be kept in mind for us to be able to deliver on time and not slow down your job.
Upon completition of building the cabinets we set up a time to deliver and
install your cabinets. On the day we come to install we ask that we have access to the house to unload the cabinets,
and due to size of most jobs we ask that we have one day with no other subs in the house so we do not get in their way and
they're not in ours to slow down progress. While setting the cabinets we will level and plum all cabinets as well as square
and adjust all doors and drawers. This process usually takes two to three days.
We hope that this gives you an overview of what to expect through this process and also gives you an understanding of time
frames involved with this process. The biggest thing to make sure your job is on time is communication. Let us know when
you're starting the house so that we know it is coming up. We thank you for looking at our website and hope we have the oppurtunity
to work with you on your project.
